If you have a Top Voice Badge the Golden one on LinkedIn it might disappear soon.
So LinkedIn has announced that it’s retiring its “Top Voice” Golden Badges.
It was launched in March Last year. In a collaborative article, people can contribute, engage with others, help others, and grow their network.

But what they are seeing and getting complaints about is that some people are not experts in certain skills but still they are getting it because it’s not done by manually being generated by the system.
Although those before gaining the top voice badge the golden one are contributing but only in collaborative content. So by that they are not engaging with any other and not providing content. Which seems to lack expertise in certain skills. By using Chat GPT they write the answers in the collaborative article.
So if you got any badge it will disappear within 60 days.
So from Oct 8th, 2024, LinkedIn will be retiring the Gold Community Top Voice Badge. And by Dec 7th, 2024 it will be gone from the App.

Expand your Reach:
Expand your connection by sharing knowledge and by providing valuable content. Make a connection outside of your network.
Be seen as an expert in your field:
Share your expertise with your network or community and try to be recognized by other experts from your circle. Try to engage with others’ posts and get noticed.
Help the community:
In your community, some people want answers to their workplace questions. Help them to find out that and help them to grow. Through these, you will gain more eye to your profile
So, overall what we understood is that now LinkedIn wants us to be more active, and more engaged with your community, help them, and make your connection grow out of your network. By that, you will be recognized by the LinkedIn community and yours as well.
